Went to Brighton this weekend to clean and redecorate the house. I think its going to look really nice once its all done up. They had the most friendliest cat ever, sooo cute, I wanted to take him home with me.
I have been going swimming lately and am really enjoying it. I have noticed that it is helping my skin, its as smooth as a babys bum, hehe. So far I have managd to do 34laps in 1hr. And i am improving. My dad told me that he did 50 laps, and i was like bloody hell, but i found out today that he swims in a 15m pool where as i swim in a 25m pool. Aha. So I now feel much better, lol.
Still no, job. But I am finding things to keep myself occupied.

Went to Totnes yesterday in search of jobs. Found a few places that were offering jobs, so I just have to wait and see. 1 restaurant offered me a job but then turned me down because I live in plymouth which is half an hr by train, and they didnt want to be held responsible for me going home on a train at 1am in the morning on my own. So close!
One of my old friends has managed to get in contact with me :). She was from my primary school and school in fowey. Its so amazing to here from her we haven't spoken in 4 and half yrs. I completley didnt recognise her when i saw her pic.

Well hello!
Its definatley been a while since I last updated, but I just keep on forgetting..or im just not botherd, lol.
Judith I have to say that ur holiday sounds amazing! And im really glad that you liked Krakow, I knew u would its so beautiful. I think ive sat in the same cafe and had ice cream where u did, lol. U also seemed to have done alot on ur holiday, i say thats v well prepared ;).
My holidays were lovely, all I can say is that they were hot! Poland seemed to be more so hotter than Crete, because at least in Crete they had the sea breeze. Crete was just so beautifully blue! Literally sky and sea oh yeh and mountains. Food was good, men were hot, lol, and the sea was so nice and warm. I was so amazed by the view from the aeroplane, the different Greek islands looked like they were from a jig saw puzzle, and the alpes, wow! It was breath taking for me, hehe.
When ever I go to Poland my family feeds me so much food. Its just their way of being nice. I literally got given a cake everyday (not a whole cake obviously). Im not complaining coz they were good but I dont think I could continue doing that, lol. It didnt feel as different as I thought it would with my grandad not being their. Suppose because he w normally sat and watchrf tv and we would get on with things. It was nice spending time with my gran on our own, I kind of got to know her better. However it was quite different travelling on my own because I normally go with Greg. Although i am getting used to it now. When we went to Krakow (it took 10hrs from Szczecin omg!). We went to a forest, where it was so stunning, I dont think Ive seen a place so green, and it was a really hot day too. Plus I forgot my camera which I was annoyed about. Im really getting fond of landscape views as u can tell. My family seemed impressed by my polish, they think ive imporved, not entirely sure how! Because I never practise it, but i think i am more confident now.
My birthday was lovely, went for lunch with my dad. Then went to town with Aly she bought my prezzie, then went went on a ferrise wheel on the hoe, which was so cool!! Then hung out on the Hoe, we were going to go swimming, but the beach was very packed and green so we went home. Then in the eve I went out for a meal with my parents and Aly to pizza express, they had a norah jones singer there ( a girl singing her songs). It made the evening more special. So it was nice. Then aly and I went to the Treasurey (bar). I got a new phone for my birthday. Its the sony ericsson k610i in misty white. Im loving it ba ba ba ba ba.
Im still looking for jobs and not having much luck, any suggestions welcome!
Ive rambled on for a bit so I better go.

The boiler has now been fixed :D. So nice to be able to have showers again, and I have clean clothes too : ).
Went out on friday night. Was quite a cool night, they played cheesey music which was funny. But it was different cheese to normal, was from our generation like dr jones, five, b witched. Why did kids ever like that music? lol.
Went to see Lucky number sleven on wed. Its quite a cool film actually and Josh Hartnet is pretty fit in the film.
I have this cool little scooby doo on my comp that dances when ever I play my music, cracks me up.
Tried to snow today, but it didnt settle. |

Im bored! Finished my assignment and now have to wait for he bus, so I can go home and have some food.
My gran from poland is coming to england on wed. Was a suprise, she's going to stay for a month and is going back a day before I break up for easter, lol. Typical. Have to find sometime to see her. Dont know whether she should come up to Lincoln or whether I should go to London. But I think she will be happy as she hasnt been here since mum died, and now that my grandad has died she doesnt need to worry about him anymore, she can do what she likes really.
Boiler is still not fixed, there taking the piss now! Its been over a week since we haven't had any hot water and this is the second time this has happened!! Grrr club easy.
Dunno what im going to do this weekened. Im sure I'll find something to do. Prob hand wash all my clothes, lol. Now that will take a while :P. |

To update from the weekend. The party on fri was wkd, I got rather drunk and we ended up playing drunk twister, and I won a game, lol. Plus it did decided to snow on fri night, it has been cold enough. Ollie and Mole came up, they stayed the night and we hung out on sat, went for a walk round riseholme (my uni campus). Ollie decided to cook us a lovely meal in the eve, he used to be a chef. Not tquite sure what I did on sun tho, think I just chilled out.
I got my dissitation title back. Managed to get my first choice out of 4 :). Im doing Human Behavioural Ecology. We have a module this term where we're planning out project proposal plan so we know what we're doing next yr.
Our boiler has been playing up for a while, working and not working. And now its finally not working. We have to wait for a part to be deliverd for the boiler man to fix it so we have no heating or hot water now. Its so annoying I wanna have a shower, and not have to boil the kettle to wash up or have a wash, lol. They have provided us with heaters which isnt too bad.
Found out that Ginny and I cant doing lambing this yr as most of the lambs have been born now. But we can go along and help out. |

Went out last night. Emily, Ginny and I went to the glass house which is a pub/bar place. First time we've been there together, it seemed quite nice, played good music etc. We got a malibu and coke pitcher with 9 shots for £5.50. I think thats a pretty good price. Had 2 of those between us while we were waiting for Tash to arrive. She managed to have one of those to herself in like 15mins :o lol. Then went to Ritzey's and met Scotty and Jane. I saw Steve on the dance floor and decided to speak to him, seeing as though he hasnt spoken to me yet. I asked him why I hadnt heard from him and he said he's been busy working, I kinda got annoyed coz that seems to be his excuse for everything, he cant spare 5mins to txt me! So I had a go at him. And he said sorry. I think he realised that I was pissed off with him and I think he's either scared of me or embarrased, hehe. The ball is now in his court ;). I do feel really good today, I woke up with a smile on my face. Also a little bit tierd coz a guy came round in the morn to fix my radiator as it wasnt working. He's going to fix the boiler tomo which keeps on breaking, so now it shouldnt have any problems anymore : ).

mm just trying to think of the last time I updated. On friday we went out to a gay pub called the horse and groom, it was quite cool actually, they had a drag show n all which was funny, and they looked quite good. Met some of adams mates, Marty and Scotty. And adams new guy. Then moved on to scream and proceeded to get drunk. Met pablo emily's ex and he told me that Steve (my ex) saw me in the street and he said I blanked him. I did no such thing! So that annoyed me a little bit as we havnt spoken since we broke up. But thats just coz Im angery at him and dont wanna speak with him, but i have decided that Im gonna be civil and friendly. He hasnt made the effort either, so...
Saturday didnt do much as had a hang over and didnt get much sleep, just chilled out really. Oh emily and I did try and make an apple and mango crumble but the crumble part didnt turn out too well. Kinda turned to pasty so it was more of a pie, lol. Anyone know how to make it more crumbly? (We used margarine instead of butter which I think was the mistake). It was still good tho.
Just had an test, which was about genetics. Hope it went well, but I just have to wait and see.
Forgot to say that I passed my exams that I took in January.
You know I think there is something about february coz everyone I know seems to be having problems at the mo and I dont know why.
We're having a house party on friday :D. |

Im feeling alot better today. Which is good coz theres only so much I can stand of staying at home in bed and doing nothing. On the plus side, I did manage to catch up on my sleep which is what I needed.
I went to town today to get some food as I literally did run out of food. It is bloody cold outside. Apparently there was even a bit of snow in the morning. I had a cheese and onion pasty for lunch, for some reason Ive had a real urge for one lately, dont know why, lol.
My mp3 player arrived this morning :D. It so cool. Am well happy, as its my christmas present which at long last has arrived.
We are planning on going out tonight, Im looking forward to it coz I havnt really done much over the past couple of days.
Tis pancake day on tuesday, must remember.
Anybody been watching neighbours lately? What do u thinks gonna happen? |

Well I am now ill :(. Spent all of yesterday in bed not really being able to move coz it hurt too much. My throat and chest really hurt (especially when I cough) and general body aching. Seems like I have flu symptoms, but I am no doctor. Am feeling slightly better today but my body still aches and worse still I have to actually try and concentrate and do my assignmnet. I am getting there tho.
Good news is that I should get my mp3 player this week : )
I will get better soon, I am making sure of it :D. (Now I know what it feels like to be an old person, god I dont wanna get old!) |

Came back from York yesterday, was nice to see Greg even tho we were both a bit tierd. His house mate (girl) left 2 pairs of boots and some wellies which i now own as she didnt want them. And I have a radio and a heater from greg as he doesnt want them. Kinda felt like it was my bday, lol. We just hung out and chatted watched a couple episodes of coupling which was v funny and i cooked him a sir fry for dinner as his meals arent very imaginative. It was really weird at one point coz when ever i said something he said he was thinking and feeling exactly the same way as me. I thought that was quite cool. Like he's the only person i can talk to about Trance music and share my passion with coz i dont know anyone else that does and he feels the same too, altho he has friends that like it but they live a long way away.
Been feeling really tierd lately and i dont like it. Woke up today with a sore throat and general not feeling too great. Hope I dont get too ill as i have to do my assignment this weekend.
Have an assignment to do for monday on altruism (selfish gene). I have books which is a start.
My mp3 player still hasnt arrived. I orderd it on 1stfeb and its still not here! Grr unreliable ebay. It was recorded delivery as well, which i paid extra for.
Tis friday now which is good, coz all lecs are over. Just had animal nutrition which was quite interesting. Get a lovely long lie in tomo morn : ). |

Hello!!
Im currently very bord, just had my 2nd lecture for the term. Twas reproduction and breeding, now have to wait 2 hrs in the library for the second seminar or genetics!
Went out to scream last night for a bit to see horsey peeps, was nice to see everyone again and to go out.
Tash, Emily, Ginny and I all went out on thurs to scream, it was a v funny night for everyone, they all got rather drunk and took lots of photos.
We had a house part on sat, it was very cool. People got drunk (obviously), but I think everyone had a good time. Unfortunatly I didnt do anything quite as funny as out last house party like when i ran into our bathroom door! lol!
We printed off some photos of our second year and decided to put them up in our living room next to the photos of our first year. I think it looks quite cool, fills the space up a bit.
Both Tash and Emily are ill and in bed, bless them. Hope they get better soon! |
